1. Delivery Partner and Responsibility
Amir Online uses The Courier Guy as its primary delivery partner for orders within South Africa and may use another suitable carrier where necessary. The courier transports the parcel, provides tracking and records proof of delivery. The customer’s sale remains with Amir Online, and customer service, cancellations, returns and refunds must be directed to Amir Online.
2. Delivery Area
Delivery is available to serviceable physical addresses within South Africa. Remote, outlying, high-risk or restricted areas may require additional time, a surcharge, delivery to the nearest service point or an alternative arrangement. PO boxes are not accepted unless expressly offered at checkout.
3. Delivery Charges
The delivery fee is calculated or displayed at checkout before payment and may depend on destination, parcel dimensions, weight, value and service level. Any free-delivery promotion applies only under its published conditions. A surcharge caused by incorrect customer information, an inaccessible destination or a customer-requested change may be charged where reasonable and disclosed.
4. Processing and Delivery Estimates
Orders are processed after cleared payment and any required verification. Estimated dispatch and delivery windows shown on the website or at checkout are business-day estimates and exclude weekends and public holidays unless stated otherwise. Delivery time varies by destination and service. No estimate is a guarantee unless Amir Online expressly confirms a guaranteed service in writing.
5. Tracking
When available, tracking details will be sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp after the parcel is booked. Customers can follow updates using the waybill number through The Courier Guy tracking service. A tracking event is operational information and does not change the customer’s rights against Amir Online.
6. Address and Contact Requirements
The customer must provide a correct street address, suburb, postal code, recipient name and reachable mobile number. Building, estate, office, unit, access-code and reception details must be supplied where relevant. Amir Online and the courier are not responsible for delay caused by incomplete or incorrect information, but will assist with correction where possible.
7. Receiving the Parcel and Proof of Delivery
An adult or authorised person must be available to receive the parcel. Delivery may be recorded by a signature, recipient name, PIN, photograph, scan, timestamp or other courier proof-of-delivery method. Delivery to reception, security or another person reasonably appearing authorised at the supplied address may count as delivery. Customers should not share delivery PINs with unauthorised persons.
8. Missed or Unsuccessful Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed, the courier may attempt redelivery, contact the customer, hold the parcel at a service point or return it to Amir Online. Reasonable redelivery or return charges caused by an incorrect address, refusal, inaccessibility or repeated customer unavailability may be charged before redispatch. This does not apply where failure was caused by Amir Online or where the law requires otherwise.
9. Delays
Courier delays may arise from weather, traffic, road closures, network volumes, strikes, civil disruption, load-shedding impacts, incorrect routing or other events outside reasonable control. The Courier Guy’s standard services may exclude liability for delay in defined circumstances. Amir Online will nevertheless remain the customer’s point of contact, investigate material delays and provide the remedy required by applicable law if the order is not delivered within an agreed or reasonable period.
10. Loss, Theft or Damage in Transit
Report a parcel that appears lost, tampered with or damaged to Amir Online immediately. For damage, take clear photographs before opening where possible, and retain the shipping label, outer packaging, inner packaging and product. Amir Online will lodge the courier investigation and communicate the outcome. Courier claim conditions do not remove consumer rights against Amir Online.
11. Inspection After Delivery
Inspect goods promptly. A signed or recorded delivery confirms receipt of the parcel, not necessarily that concealed damage or a product defect does not exist. Incorrect items, missing parts, visible damage and defects are handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable South African law.
12. Large, Fragile and Restricted Items
Large or fragile items may use a specialised service, carry additional charges or require an appointment. Delivery is to a safe accessible point at the address unless installation or room placement is expressly included. Products restricted by law, safety rules or carrier conditions may require identity or age verification and may not be deliverable to every destination.
13. Changes and Cancellations
Contact Amir Online immediately to request an address change or cancellation. A change cannot be guaranteed after booking or dispatch and may create an additional charge. A dispatched order falls under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
14. Delivery Support
For all delivery enquiries, contact Amir Online first: info@amironline.co.za | 084 377 8901 | www.amironline.co.za. Have the order number and waybill number ready. Public courier tracking may also be used for status updates.
